Inaugural Blog

Well, I gotta say I've been reading my friends' blogs for years. They cover everything from running marathons, to relocating across the country, to raising kids, to reviewing music. They are fun, witty, informative and overall pretty great. But, there are a few that truly suck. I'm not naming names, but really, they suck. And that's when I decided "I can do better!" So I begin the blog.

I have titled this blog "Single, Renting, With Cats...". Many of you might think that sounds depressing or a cliche of a romantic comedy starring Jennifer Aniston or worse, Katherine Heigel (sp). But it's not. I am reclaiming the fabulousness that comes with being single, renting an apartment, and having two cute, fuzzy little friends to come home to every night. It's not glamorous, but it's perfectly pleasant and peaceful and it gives this gal the freedom to do whatever she likes. A friend once said that if she wasn't married or had kids, she'd want my life. So I figured if SHE wants it, then everyone else must want a piece so here goes.
